Josephine Tang – Finance Director  ( 2017) :A friend and I felt that we should be doing some weights and strength training. Yet we did not want to just walk into any gymnasium without proper guidance. So I got Vee’s contact from another friend.
We first started training with Vee in a 2-person group personal training circa mid-2015. It was a once weekly training, consisting of a course of 10 classes with Vee. By the last class, we were hooked. We signed up another course of 30 classes.

A few months later in 2016, I signed up a separate course of 30 personal training classes with her. If my memory serves me right, by mid or third quarter of 2016, I had already signed up a further course of 30 classes with her. I will soon be signing up another course of 30 classes with her.

These are my reasons for continuing from 10 classes to multiple courses of 30 classes with Vee:

1) I learnt techniques on inhaling and exhaling. Before this, I definitely did not know when to breathe or not!! Breathing right, I complete more sets. Akin to swimming, breathe right, I swim more laps

2) I learnt simple techniques in engaging different muscles group when doing different exercises such as sit-ups, push ups, plank, plough, balancing with swiss ball, etc. These simple yet critical techniques help me to avoid injuries yet gaining strength. Strength equals muscles. Muscles burn fats

3) I gained simple dos and don’ts on muscles group such as which type of exercises causes muscles to shorten or lengthen, therefore how to mix or not various exercises

My biggest motivation for continuing to train with Vee is she watches over me as I train just like an exercise buddy and why not a certified one. Her course fees are reasonable yet what I gain in return is priceless.
Vee knows exactly how to train, tone, strengthen and still make my classes enjoyable. As I have 3 slipped discs, Vee tailors core and back strengthening exercises suitable for my condition. I also believe the step-by-step preparatory routine which Vee tailors for me prior to commencing any exercises has helped me to achieve my fitness without exacerbating my condition. Honestly anyone can be my personal trainer but I strongly believe no one trainer can insofar understand my condition and train me like Vee does.
I credit Vee for giving back to me my “pre-slipped discs” exercise enthusiasm.

Exercise is a lifelong activity, if not a journey. Staying fit means (to me) is about good diet and proper exercise. I already have a diet which works me. Vee’s fitness program completes the other part of equilibrium for me.

一位朋友和我觉得我们应该做一些体能和力量训练。然而,我们不想在没有适当指导的情况下走进任何体健身运动。所以我得到了另一个朋友的介绍,让我们联系Vee。首先我们在2015年聘请Vee为我们进行了2人小组的私人培训。10堂课程,每周培训一次。过后,我们又在继续两人组的30私教课程。

在2016年,我的友人和我都各自签了另30个私人培训课程。我记得,过后我又再继续签30个私人培训课程,跟着又30个!就这样一直继续从2015-2017 年,都快3年了!

我为何一直给Vee资深私人教练继续训练我的原因是:

1) 我学习吸入和呼出的技巧。在此之前,我并不知道什么时候呼吸或不呼吸!呼吸正确,让我更正确更顺畅的完成健身运动训练项目。类似于游泳,呼吸正确,就能游泳更多圈 –

2)我学习简单的技巧,在进行不同的练习,如仰卧起坐,俯卧撑,板条,犁,平衡与瑞士球等不同的肌肉组。这些简单又关键的技术,使我获益不浅和避免运动受伤,加强肌肉群的力量和燃烧脂肪。

3) 我获得了额外的知识,针对各肌肉组的锻炼,需要先进行适当的各部肌肉群的热身和缓解.例如哪种类型的锻炼会导致肌肉缩短或延长,那一些或许不适合混合进行锻炼。

在训练中,Vee一直观察我的进度和给于适当的调整,她就像是我的一位训练伙伴, 无私分享。所以大家何不选择合格认证的私人教练或导师?!我很肯定的说 Vee私人教练的课程费用非常合理,而我得到的回报是无价的!

Vee确实知道如何训练,调和还有强化我整体上的体能,让我的课堂非常愉快。因为我有脊椎问题,3个部位椎盘突出,Vee设计了一个非常适合我身体状况的训练课程,核心和背部强化练习。同时Vee在开始为我进行训练时,都会为我定制一步一步的准备措施,有助于我在不加重病情的情况下实行自己的健身锻炼!

老实说,任何人都可以成为我的私人教练,但我坚信没有一个教练能够那么理解我的情况,能像 Vee那么的细腻训练我!我相信Vee已让我不再恐惧自己的病情而现在我可以放心 运动了!还让我更热爱健身运动!

锻炼是一种终身的活动,而不是一个短暂的旅程。持续健康(对我来说)意味着是关于良好的饮食和适当的锻炼。我已经有了良好的饮食习惯,加上Vee 为我设计的健身课程,让我更完整!更均衡!

我非常感谢Vee ,真想给她一个拥抱,非常感谢你,Vee 私人教练!

 May Win  –  Accountant (2017) :Determine to find back time to exercise, I started going to the gym but was doing mostly cardio. My goal however is to reduce the post birth belly attached to me after two amazing babies. 15 sessions on after April 2017, I’m already happy with my training progress! I’m sure I wouldn’t have seen results this fast if I had done it on my own. I got to know how to use the equipments properly and effectively. Having my objective in mind,

Personal Trainer Ms. Vee also ensure that I work on the right muscle group and always check that my posture /pose is correct – which I came to realise its importance as when its wrong, I end up straining my neck or back or shoulder or knees instead.

Now that I have such a good exercise time with a variety of different work out regime all planned for me, I can’t do it on my own anymore!

当我决定找回锻炼的时间,我开始去健身房,但是我主要是做有氧运动。不过,我的目标是希望能在生育了两个孩子之后,锻炼我的腹肌和腰部。

2017年4月之后,我通过了将近15私教训练后(聘请私人教练),我已经很满意,很高兴我的训练进度了!我确信,如果是我自己锻炼的话,我不会看到结果这么快。

在私人教练Ms. Vee 的正确指导下,她常检查和确保我的姿势正确,正确的锻炼有关的肌肉群。如今我知道如何正确有效地使用设备和锻炼技巧以便达到我的健身目标!她也让我意识到,我常犯的错误是,常绷紧我的脖子或背部或肩膀或膝盖等等。

现在我有一个这么好的健身训练法,一个为我特制的训练课程,各种各样的不同的锻炼法!我非常享受和收益!有人私人教练!我不再是自己做运动了!

Chandra Segeran – Global Marketing Manager (2017) : I take great pleasure sharing my Personal Training ( PT ) experience with Trainer Mr. Bill Chew . I have taken PT lesson from Bill Chew for over 2 months. Trainer Mr. Bill Chew is a very dedicated trainer. He takes time preparing customised training program for each of his trainees for every session. My fitness goal is to reduce body fat and build muscle. Under his personal training, I could see significant improvement every week compare to my 7 months self-thought training via YouTube videos.

Trainer Mr. Bill Chew method is systematic with focus on progressive improvement. He is knowledgable not only on gym training but also diet, supplements as will as specialised training for those with injuries.

Upon gaining confidence on Bill’s method and competency , I enrolled my wife for who had a slipped disc 20 years ago. She has been training for over 2 months now without issue and progressing well. Bill Chew是一位非常专业私人教练。他为每个学员准备特定的健身训练课程。我的健身目标是要减少身体脂肪并建立肌肉。然而Bill Chew私人教练却能在短短的2个多月内协助我达到了健身效果,我的目标!

在他的个人训练中,让我察觉到,之前的7个月,我通过YouTube健身视频,自己锻炼都没有如此的效果,也没有多大的改善!Bill Chew私人教练的方法,系统,重点都让我逐步改进!他不仅提供健身训练,分享饮食方法和饮用适当的补充品,也与我分享如何减低或避免健身运动损受的风险。

于是我也聘请Bill Chew私人教练为我妻子的健身教练!我的妻子在二十年前脊椎严重受伤,椎盘凸出。Bill Chew私人教练为我妻子特制了另一套健身训练系统,我的妻子在Bill Chew私人教练的培训下, 才短短2个多月,进展顺利,讯速达到效果和目标!

在此,我可以很肯定的说,Mr.Bill Chew私人教练是一位非常专业和有趣的教练,使我们每一次的健身训练都非常的愉快!感恩,谢谢!

Julia Lim – Business Development Executive  (2016) :I came to Personal Trainer Ms. Vee from Veron Fitness in late March 2015 – at a time, when not too long ago I had just recovered from a very bad viral fever which resulted in a lung infection, gastric problems which landed me in a hospital and to cap it off – I have a knee problem that afflicts most runners and elderly people. Since I was neither old nor a runner, I was very appalled by the condition my knee was in.

And so I was feeling very depressed for being physically weak, then I remembered about a memoir by a Japanese author I read – that running had helped him become physically, mentally and emotionally stronger. Stronger was what I needed to become.

I was aware that there is no way that I could sign up for a gym membership and train on my own without proper guidance. Chances are I would give up no sooner than when I’ve started, and I was very serious about my quest on being physically stronger.

That was when I found you.

Trainer Ms. Vee did an assessment of me on my first day of training – I could barely breath after 10 minutes of cardio exercises, struggled desperately with just 2 reps of sit-ups and I couldn’t reach my toes. Forget about push-ups; my chest press was just sad. Climbing a set stairs would have me winded by the time I’m up. To top it all off – my knee wasn’t helping.

Through a series of well planned exercise and training program / methods that was specifically tailored to my condition – today, I am able to do almost all of those above and maybe more, on my own, thanks to you. My strength, stamina and flexibility had improved tremendously ever since then. In a just a short span of one year; I was able to conquer most of what I had set out to accomplish.

Thank you Trainer Ms. Vee , for being ever so attentive, for always believing in me, and for always pushing my limits just a little further every time just to prove I can do it.

I hope to continue working with you one day (soon).

Shen Sim – Designer (2016) : In 2014, I wanted to go back to gym after 2 years of slacking off after I got back from the UK. I found Veron Fitness via intense online search for a certified trainer, as you all would know, it is hard to find one in Johor Bahru, especially a female. I emailed VF and got a reply, the next thing I know, I drove to meet them felt good and paid on the spot.

We went through the basic details, my style of exercising, my pains or problems and etc. My goal was to get fit and toned, I don’t have a weight goal, because I am a strong believer that being fat doesn’t mean you are unhealthy. So trainer Ms. Vee came up with routines to target my problem area and we had an assessment on the first day and I failed terribly LOL. I don’t have a eating problem but I have stubborn fats and my core was really bad. Trainer Vee managed to see that straight away and started planning routines for me. She was able to sense I get bored easily when I keep doing the same workout and I appreciates that because I would not be motivated. It was a blessing that she is trained in Pilates and yoga as well, I often suffer pain in my back or knee due to my weight. She incorporates both into my fitness routine and it helped massively and I love it since they train different type of muscles, it was a welcomed challenge to my muscle groups.

I suffers muscle aches from time to time during workout, it was essential that I tell Trainer Vee as she was able to pinpoint the problem immediately and change my position or give me a variation of the same workout. Her professionalism is admirable, as she suffers from her own sports injuries frequently but she would insist we continue on. We would always share tips and informations about various things and I feel really comfortable training with her. I sincerely doubt I would find another trainer who cares so much for their clients. Because of that, I naturally start to lookout for her not as a trainer only but as a valued friend.

I am still on my Peronal training with Trainer Vee till this day with a better core, more toned muscles and a weight goal for motivation. I probably will continue for as long as she wants accept me smile emoticon!

在2014年,从英国回来后,我经过2年的懈怠生活,才想回到健身房。我通过网站搜索,发现Veron Fitness 拥有一组专业合格的认证的私人教练和培训师!大家都知道,很难在新山找到专业合格认证的私人教练,特别是女性私人教练。我通过电子邮件询问,并得到回复!于是我立刻到场报名并聘请Vee 私人教练为我的教练!

我们通过了基本的细节,了解了我的运动风格,我的痛苦或问题等等。我的目标是要不断的适应和调整,当时我并没有体重目标,因为我是一个坚强的信徒,脂肪并不意味着你是不健康。所以Vee 私人教练提出了针对我的问题的运动健身方案和例行程序。

我们在第一天进行健康与健身测试和评估,我的测试大多都不合棵!我没有饮食问题,但我有顽固的脂肪,还有我发现我的核心真的很糟糕。拥有丰富经验的资深教练,Vee 私人教练察觉了我该改进和加强的地方!并开始协助我规划健身运动程序和方案。

当我继续做同样的锻炼时,她能察觉到的郁闷!我感谢她常给我动力。很幸运的,她也是一名普拉提和瑜伽导师。由于我曾经常忍受背部和膝盖的疼痛,所以Vee 私人教练把Yoga & Pilates 都融入了我的健身课程!并且大量地帮助我,训练不同类型和部位的肌肉群!所以我很喜欢!这对我的肌肉群来说是一个非常好的挑战!

有时后,在我进行锻炼时感到肌肉不适,Vee 私人教练能够立即确定问题,改变我的位置或给我另一个相同又适合我的锻炼变化。她的专业精神绝对是令人赞赏的!我们也常分享关于各种运动提示和信息!

我觉得我与Vee 私人教练很相辅适应,我真诚地推存她!一位非常关心学员的教练!在我心目中,她是一位有价值的朋友。

我仍然在训练中,直到今天有更好的核心,更多的肌肉和动力的体重目标。我可能会继续,只要她还想要接受我,我当然开心啦!

 Joanne Kok  : 2012年,我因加入某健身院的会员而开始出席Veron Fitness Team在该院指导的瑜伽课,学习过程中体会到VF的每一位老师都十分用心教学,教学的宗旨是让学员从基本学起,并且会根据学员不同的状况改变所教的动作,这是自当时起健身院普遍看重学员人数多于教课品质的团体课鲜少能做到的程度。学习了近两年后,我和友人因兴趣而询问导师如何可以成为瑜伽导师,才因此得知VF有提供教练培训课。由于对VF的每一位导师都有良好的印象,于是不假思索便参加了瑜伽教练培训课,进而考获证书,成为了VF的一员。

VF鼓励旗下教练积极充实自我,多接触与职业相关的各种课程,学习后可融会贯通,增加教课品质。教学方面,VF相当秉持职业道德,课堂上不哗众取宠,下课后亦不聚众嬉闹、损人利己,与学员和健身院管理层一直保持着适当的距离,以免过多的人为因素而影响教课品质。这种作风虽属老派,可确实能避免不必要的人为纠纷,也直接地让团队常保合作精神,以及最单纯的教学初衷。

 Suzanne Liew  : . 2008年在教练Belinda的启蒙之下加入了Veron Fitness Team。当时懵懵懂懂的我,在Veron Fitness Team的栽培之下成就了现在的我。训练课程里学到了很多如何正确的体位教学;学习如何让学员们正确及轻松地练习瑜伽。这些宝贵的教学使我在这瑜伽的道路上增加了自信,也在教学的路途里能与学员们增进沟通。

The participants have provided feed back that the DanceFIT worskhop is unique in its approach to teaching and combining fitness and dance in a fun and engaging manner. 》Ever since this yoga class started in our club in year 2006 by Veron Fitness, no doubt we gain lots from it. However, words are not enough for us to transmit the power of yoga.

Indeed it changes our life, why do we say that? One of the greatest advantages is balance in inhale and exhale can lead to a balance in our lifestyle. One of our member who is 56 years old, she use to has knee ache and back ache, after few months of yoga session, it’s getting better. She even says good bye to the pain. In addition, whole body medical checkups also shown to another lady that her blood pressure measurement, cholesterol measurement, hepatitis B vaccine and so on has return to a normal  level after she join this yoga class. Besides, an increase of body flexibility (improve from suffering from sprain) has occurred in everyone to our class, A healthy diet which equal the intake of each meal, sleep well, perspiring (release the negative charge in our body) are proof by our members as well.

Eva Pang- Instructor :   The first time I heard the name of Veron Fitness was on year 2006 when the time I wished to become a Yoga Instructor and I was wondered where can I took the instructor course? Luckily, my friend introduced the founder of Veron Fitness, to me.

Jo Lim- Instructor   : I have been with Veron Fitness more than 4 years since May 2005. During this time, I have gained valuable experience and class presentation skills in Pilates, Yoga and Aerobics. More important, I have also learned about the complete system of administration at Veron Fitness. As a result, I have become a better Instructor.

Through working with Veron Fitness Team Instructors, I have also extended my network of fellow  Instructors from which I can develop and exchange ideas with. I have also derived tremendous intrinsic satisfaction from the progress my students made during my four years with Veron Fitness.
